DISTRIBUTION : Africa and far east : Burma, China, Vietnam and Indonesia. SIZE: Females can reach 19 feet usually 15', Males usually about 8' to 12'. TEMPERAMENT: At first babies may strike but usually become tame with handling. Two should be present when handling adults. HARDINESS: Very hardy Sexing : Should be carefully probe sexed. FOOD: Mainly mice and rats ,adults also except chickens and rabbits. Housing : A 20 gal terrarium can house babies. Adults require a larger set up. WATER: Provide a large and heavy dish-change water offen.

TEMPERATURE : Day 82-95 f ,night 72-80 f .LIGHTING UVA and UVB lighting required.Heating : A ceramic heat emitter recommended with a heat pad or rock to aid in digestion. Caution heat rocks can go bad and over heat ! They should be covered with a cloth.

Distribution: USA and Mexico.Size: Usually 4-5', can reach 9'. Temperament: Likes to bluff. Aggressive in captivity at first, but when handled will become very tame.. Hardiness : very hardy .Sexing : Should be carefully probe sexed. Food : rodents and birds. Housing : A 40 gal terrarium can one or two medium sized snakes. Should be landscaped. Water : Large and heavy dish with fresh water for drinking.Temperature : 78 -85f day, night 71-75f. Lighting : No artificial lighting required.. Heating : A heat pad or rock heating preferred -Best to wrap rock with cloth. Also use a ceramic heat emitter.
